CR Series

OUTDOOR BATTERY CABINET
The OC Series of Outdoor Cabinets is designed to provide reliable battery power in a "battery friendly" environment. This series of outdoor cabinets has been specifically designed as a stand alone battery cabinet. These aluminum cabinets are fully enclosed and sealed from extreme outdoor environments and provide protection against water, dirt and any other contaminants. All of the cabinets in the OC Series can be custom engineered to the exact specifications required by the application. These systems are designed for Front Access VRLA batteries. This integration includes battery installation, wiring and testing prior to shipment, eliminating the need to install and test the batteries on site.
Standard Features
- NEMA 3R design, with NEMA 4X corrosion protection.
- Insulation 2" thick, R-14.8.
- Built to Bellcore NEBS seismic zone 4 rating.
- UL 1778 Listed.
- Operational in a temperature range of -40ºF to +122ºF.(-40ºC to 85ºC).
- Lifting eye bolts.
- Sparkless hydrogen gas evacuation fan.
- Door secured by padlock latch.
- Front access CSL Series VRLA batteries.
- Top mounted access panel.
Structure:
- Outside: 1/8" thick aluminum.
- 1/4" stainless steel anchoring and eye hook mounting.
- Interior battery rails: 10 GA. steel.
Finish:
- Electrostatic powder coated PS-311-H22 beige
-- Optional ANSI telecom gray.
Insulation:
- Polycyanurate foam sheeting, 2" thick with an "R" factor of 14.8.
- Neoprene battery rail insulation and gasketed doors.
